Solution Architect — Longterm Contract

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with deep experience designing B2B/B2C customer portals, cloud-native platforms and strong stakeholder management skills. You will own solution design, drive technology selection and partner with engineering, security and data teams to deliver production-ready architecture.

Core Requirements

  • Overall 12–15 years in IT; 5–7 years as a Solution Architect
  • 3+ years designing architectures for B2B/B2C customer portals
  • Experience with frontend frameworks: React, Angular (evaluation & recommendation)
  • Backend stack experience: Node.js, MongoDB, SQL Server (on Azure)
  • Cloud & SaaS hosting experience: Azure and AWS (evaluation & recommendation)
  • Good stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Azure Data Lake and Stratos (advantage)
  • Salesforce + LWC experience (added advantage)

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design solutions for new initiatives; research technology options and present recommendations to IT & business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Segment / Lead Solution Architect to define strategy and present to decision review boards.
  • Guide and mentor development teams on architectural decisions and implementation patterns.
  • Align with security and identity architects to ensure solutions are secure, resilient and compliant.
  • Engage with Business Analysts, Data Analysts and SMEs to define data scope and design end-to-end data flows (APIs, messaging).
  • Design conceptual, logical and physical data models; produce DDL or message format guidance where required.
  • Use and promote architecture tools and artefacts (TOGAF, BizzDesign preferred) and maintain architecture deliverables.
  • Assess technology vulnerabilities and contribute to IRM strategy; raise step-outs when needed.
  • Work in virtual, cross-geography teams and follow Agile/Product-focused delivery practices.

Desired Experience & Knowledge

  • Strong background in Application and Data architecture with hands-on data design skills.
  • Cloud native architecture experience (preferred: AWS & Azure foundational hyperscaler knowledge).
  • Platform mindset: Data & Analytics, IPaaS, API-based integration, authentication & connectivity architectures.
  • Experience with open-source technologies and cloud-native patterns.
  • TOGAF certification and BizzDesign experience are preferred; Pega knowledge is advantageous.
